Mr. John Johnson died May 30 and was buried June 1st in the Linden Cemetery under the auspices of the GAR. It was the largest funeral procession that has assembled in Madison Township for many years. He was a man that was well liked by everybody and leaves a wife and 7 children and a host of friends to mourn his loss. -- typed by kbz
